If you have any affiliations with Blue Star Families, Department of Defense, and National Endowment for the Arts, and the National Guard Reserves too, you are sitting in driving seat of pure military summertime fun and excitement.

My apologies. I always wanted to say that throughout my young childhood and adult years. LOL

That phrase simply means that you are living your best life. I personally salute you all for that as well.

There are over 2000 plus museums in the United States of America that will offer free admission to all active duty personnel.

• Last but not least, if your family enjoys roller coasters, the grand finale of all rides is located at Carowinds Theme Park.

This is great for military families traveling in the SummerTime.

This theme park has everything:

• 11 plus roller coaster rides
• Live entertainment
• Plus an enormous water park to cool off and have fun too

The End Game Rides

Carowinds has roller coaster rides that will make you scream for your momma. That’s right folks. This is the reason why I keep coming back for more. LOL

Yes! These rides are that good. The top three are:

FURY 325

• 325 feet with an 81 drop. Awe Sucky Ducky Quack Quack!

Nighthawk

• 115 drop flying face down. You will not know which way is Up. Trust me when I tell you this

Intimidator

• You will definitely be going to church after this ride. Need I say more? LOL

Family Rides

Carowinds has some very good family rides that are suitable for everybody to enjoy themselves too. Some of my favorites are listed below:

Boo Blasters on Boo Hill

• This interactive ride is perfect for all ages. 

• Basically, you are traveling through an array of haunted environments looking to capture Boocifer and his ghost friends with your special weapon called the Boo Blaster.

Bonus Tip:

Make sure you purchase the 3D glasses to make your experience more believable and real

Plants VS. Zombies Garden Warfare Arena

• Based off the popular video game itself, this 3D interactive intra-attraction is a battle for the masses.
• The coolest part about this event is that riders get to choose their side- plants or zombies.
• Rack up as many points as you can to lead your team to victory.

There are plenty more additional family rides scattered throughout the park too which includes:

• Bumper Cars
• The Carolina Skytower
• Rip Roaring Rapids

Bonus Tip:

• Some of these attractions may require children to ride with an adult.

Just For Kids

• If you have small children, Carowinds also has you covered too.

Camp Snoopy will become their favorite spot to hangout too. Your children will be able to enjoy all of the little kiddies rides created just for them.

• The water park is free because it is included as part of your admission.
